Release: Green launches 2nd campaign ad of the general election
MA-3 candidate and Pepperell Businessman Rick Green launched the second ad of the general election cycle this morning.
Titled “Pasha’s Story,” the ad is a 3-minute vignette that tells the touching story of how Rick welcomed a Russian-born immigrant into not only the 1A Auto family but into his own family when Pasha married Rick’s sister after attending a Green Thanksgiving meal.
Coming off the heels of Rick’s first ad, “Let’s Fix It,” “Pasha’s Story” details Rick’s biography through the story of his now brother-in-law. Green is a businessman, a family man, a fixer and a doer who is prepared to go to Washington to get things done for Massachusetts.
When Pasha immigrated to the United States from Russia to pursue work, he heard about a small but growing online auto parts company started by two brothers in Massachusetts. Rick hired Pasha quickly, recognizing his talent in technology and data analysis. Knowing Pasha didn’t have family or friends in the US, Rick invited him to Thanksgiving dinner, where Pasha met Rick’s sister. The two eventually were married and now have four children.
Pasha says, “I think we need more people in Congress who are there to solve problems. And I think Rick exactly is that kind of guy. So the best thing I can think of is to send the right guy to Congress, and that would be Rick.”
Pasha’s endorsement is the driving narrative of the ad. Policy is about people, and it’s time we start working together to start getting things done for middle class American families. Instead of chasing headlines and getting caught up in the battles of Washington, Green is committed to working to fix MA-3’s roads and bridges, prioritizing legal immigration and stemming the opioid epidemic.
The ad, also released in a 30-second version, was shot and produced by Upfront Strategies, which is led by Josh Sharp.
